ACCESSIBILITY

A guide to accessibility at Newton Park can be found here

Alternative eating options and self catering

For anyone staying in the campus accommodation at Newton Park and who wishes to self-cater rather than pay for evening meals, you will either need to bring provisions with you, or buy them from the nearest store. There are no shops on campus but there is a farm shop in Newton St. Loe (0.7 miles) and a Tesco Express (3 miles), both open 7 days. Corston post office (1.3 miles) also has a small shop.

Delegates staying on campus have access to their own kitchens as part of their accommodation. But for anyone not staying on campus, who prefers to self-cater in the evenings, delegates can have access to two mini-kitchens near the conference rooms which have a microwave oven and a fridge. Please email BFE2020@bathspa.ac.uk if you wish to make use of these facilities.

The Globe pub at the bottom of the campus drive (1 mile) also serves food.

(It is not practicable or advisable for delegates to eat in Bath on Thursday or Friday evenings if they plan to attend evening events).

The Visit Bath website provides information on many eating options within the city.

Alternative conference dinner option

For those not attending the conference dinner, there is an adjacent al fresco dining space at the Brasserie’s sister company, Bath Pizza Company (not bookable). All delegates are welcome to the jam session from around 9:30pm.
